A positive frame of mind !

Had a busy week this week on PSC ( that's Portable Single Camera, on the road ) shooting Features and Entertainment Pieces.
It just goes to show how varied a job I lead when one minute I am doing Dancing on Ice, or Ant and Dec, and then the next I am recording an in depth piece on Post Traumatic Stress with a lovely young couple who have a bright future in front of them, but who are suffering from the after effects of him serving in Bosnia Iraq and Afghanistan.
Lets just hope they can get things sorted out....
Must remember that whilst we need a bit of fun and escape on the Telly, many people have problems that just don't go away....

Stir all but the drambuie into a coffee mug. Warm the drambuie, ignite it and pour the burning liqueur into the mug. Stir rapidly and drink........not so rapidly

It's What's on the Inside That Counts

There I was making a particularly Gorgeous Pan of Homemade Vegetable Soup
(recipe available on request !), When It came to add a stock cube.

I have always marvelled at the contents of the tin foil oxo cube, but they, like everything else in life seem to have had a makeover.
The outer wrapping is the same , but inside is a cube shaped like an X, or even a kiss for those romantics out there ;-)

It just goes to show you cannot judge the contents by the packaging , and that it's what's inside that counts.

Thinking ......

We are often thinking of something, but rarely do we think of someone ....
There are a few people lately I am thinking more about for one reason or another.
Perhaps we should all think of others more often.......
I know I am.

Oh Behave !

Perhaps we should go back to some old fashioned Victorian Values......

I drive past this sign daily, high up on a wall between Tower Bridge and Borough High St in
S London. I don't think I need add anything ........ :-)

A Panorama or Two

Finally got round to checking out the great Panoramic shots taken from various places around Rochester Cathedral.
I am really impressed with the Clarity,Detail and Smooth way the Images run when you pan around them. Also some lovely little still shots that pop up when you click on them.
If you fancy a quiet minute and cannot make it to the Cathedral, just click the link below !
